Care for immediate concerns that are not life-threatening

Urgent care can be a more convenient, less expensive alternative to the emergency room. Deciding where to go depends on the severity of your medical problem. If possible, check with your primary care provider before seeking treatment.

Our urgent care facilities offer accessible medical evaluation and convenient treatment for minor illnesses and conditions on a walk-in basis, including:

  • General cold and flu symptoms
  • Minor cuts and abrasions too acute for home remedies
  • Minor stitches
  • Minor joint problems

Wait times are based on the severity of your condition, but are generally shorter than at the emergency room.

Should you go to the emergency room instead?

Any condition that is life-threatening, or potentially debilitating should be treated in the emergency room. Go immediately to the E.R. if you experience the following:

  • Chest pain (call 911)
  • Head injuries
  • Broken bones
  • Severe joint problems
